At Summit Family Orthodontics, we pride ourselves on being the only office in Colorado to offer our patients a Prophy Jet cleaning at every appointment. The Prophy Jet is a high-tech, air polishing tool that efficiently cleans your teeth and helps prevent any possible white spots, known as decalcification, from forming. During your time in braces, there is a 50% chance of getting white spots on your teeth. However, thanks to our use of the Prophy Jet, only 9% of our patients have had mild cases of decalcification after treatment.
