Live Life with A Smile You Love!
No wires no hassle, improve your smile without missing a beat...

If you are an adult who missed the opportunity to straighten your teeth with traditional braces during childhood, then there’s still a way you can have that confident smile. The team of orthodontic experts at Summit Family Orthodontics understands that now you may be hesitant to wear noticeable braces made of metal brackets and wires. With this in mind, we offer Invisalign.

Invisalign, as the name implies, straightens teeth almost invisibly. Invisalign employs a system of plastic aligners to straighten teeth. These aligners are made of BPA-free plastic and are clear and smooth, making them less noticeable and much more comfortable than traditional braces, which can cause mouth and gum irritation.

If you and your dentist at Summit Family Orthodontics determine that you are a good candidate for Invisalign, then you are on your way to having a beautifully straight smile in about a year. We’ll first take photographs, x-rays and impressions of your teeth, from which the Invisalign lab will develop a treatment plan. With this, you’ll see how your teeth will move and how your new smile will develop. The lab will use this same treatment plan to fabricate your custom-fitted aligners.
Your aligners come in a series of sets. You’ll wear each set for about two weeks and then move on to the next. Conveniently, you can remove your aligners to eat and brush and floss your teeth. As your progress through sets of Invisalign aligners, your teeth will gradually move into place. When treatment is completed in about a year, you’ll be able to smile with confidence.

The dentists and their staff at Summit Family Orthodontics are committed to helping you have a smile that is healthy and makes you happy. If a smile with straight teeth is one of your happiness goals, then call our office in Littleton, CO, and learn more about Invisalign.
